Founder of KARAFURU, Yuki Kuroda fell in love with Japanese “Monozukuri” (manufacturing) and craftsman behind.
I was deeply impressed by their attitude toward Monozukuri and words they say. At the same time, I had a sense of awareness that this precious craftsmanship will be abolished in the future.
After 1984, the production amount of traditional craft is following course of decline. To preserve Japanese traditional craft, we challenge together with craftsman, I hope KARAFURU to be creating new challenge and new demand.
