The Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has released an interesting and very informative look at some of the problems surrounding food and being an island that relies on 60% of food from abroad. Check out the simple but cool info-graphics video, made by Japanese cultural creatives Groovisions.

Recently, we discussed the amount of wasted food in Japan and the food bank charity Second Harvest (2HJ). Visit their website to find out how you can help, in English or Japanese.
