green drinks Tokyo February: How Green Kids Are Raising Their Parents

green drinks Tokyo is a monthly social event for environmental professionals, social entrepreneurs, NGO activists, journalists, designers and anyone who is interested in “green and sustainability”. If you want to find out more about green projects happening in Tokyo or want to make friends, socialize and get connected, then come and join us! green drinks is an international gathering held in over 600 cities around the world. In the past, we have had visitors from London, Paris, Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, Mexico, Hamburg, Hong Kong and more.

Drop by and we will introduce you to everyone. Don’t worry if you can’t speak Japanese or if you’re coming alone. The greenz.jp staff are bilingual and there are always a few international guests.

NOTE: RSVP is required for this event. Presentations and discussions are usually conducted in Japanese only. However, if you wish to have language assistance, please inquire at the door and whisper translation will be provided by greenz staff.

At the November green drinks Tokyo, we were happy to host Melanie Mullen for a discussion on Art & Redeveloping Downtown. Melanie is founder and President of Green Building Company (re)cover inc., was the Canadian national representative of the Sierra Club of Canada and the Green Party of Canada at COP13 in Bali and co-organized the release of the Global Greens statement on the Bali negotiations.
